The Woodway - Waco Area
At the midway point on the I-35 corridor between Dallas and Austin, we make the ideal stopover location. Woodway acquired its name due to its plentiful oak and cedars, where bright red cardinals can be spotted. Waco is our larger cousin, with plenty to see and do. Before heading into town, treat yourself to our healthy and hearty free Bright Side Breakfast® served by friendly staff. Or work out in the fitness center and follow it up with a relaxing swim in our indoor swimming pool afterwards. We’re proud to have earned a 2013 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence by meeting and exceeding expectations of guests like you. If you’re traveling with a pet, you are both most welcome. We look forward to your visit!
Home to Texas’ oldest college, Baylor University, nearby McLennan Community College, and Texas State Technical College, we’re a vibrant city with a good number of fun museums and attractions, historic homes, sports events and performing arts. Located in the geographical heart of Texas on the lovely Brazos River, we’re also popular for regional conventions. As a recreational spot, 60 miles of shoreline create opportunities for everything from baseball and hot air balloon tours to kayaking and water sports of all sorts, including just getting wet on a hot day at a waterpark. We’re located 20 miles from Crawford, best known as the home of former president George W. Bush, dubbed the “Western White House” at the time.
